Free and Easy File Sharing and Syncing

Like most folks I spend my days hopping from PC to PC to Laptop to PC and so on and so forth.  You’re in your office working on a document then your back from work and on your laptop wishing you could access that doc you were working on earlier.  Or you need to share that document with a coworker on the fly.  Sharing a document, argh!, you’ve got to FTP the document to your site or docs handler and setup permissions. “Forget about it!”

The Sharing/Sync deal is a huge dilemma for every MAC and PC user and a huge productivity crusher.  Wouldn’t it be nice if you could sync those documents or projects between all your PCs and create instant hyperlinks to share your docs and photos online.  Now you can!  Dropbox is the answer.  With the first 2GB free, Dropbox offers automatic syncing of files between all of your PCs.  Alter a file on your laptop and that file is automatically synced on all your linked MACS, PCs, and or laptops.  Dropbox resides on your toolbar.  Just drag and drop the files you want to sync and presto.  File Sharing is also a breeze.  Each public file in your dropbox is instantly accessible on the net via a secured hyperlink.  E-mail the link and your off.main_logo

We’ve piloted a lot of sync software and either the feature set just wasn’t there, the interface was imposible to work with, or the application would continually crash on us.  Dropbox is a dramatic departure from the garbage app. merry-go-round.  It’s actually easy to use.  Simple file sharing and even simpler syncing.    As I mentioned, the first 2 GBs are free and there are “zero” adds.  Give it a try!  Dropbox Delivers!  It’s a great online backup tool as well.  Happy Computing!  Talk to ya soon!
