What is Online Computer Support?

Online support, commonly known as remote desktop support allows our experts to remotely fix most computer problems via "desktop sharing technology". You log in to our secure online support center with a randomly generated pin number and our computer support experts can interact with your computer remotely via the web and you can relax while your computer is being fixed.

How long will it take to fix my computer?

The length of our session all depends on the severity of your computer issue. A typical spyware or virus removal service lasts about 30-60 minutes. A full tune up session may last as much as 2 hours.

Is the remote connection secure?

Absolutely! By logging into our online support helpdesk, you are initiating a 256-bit encrypted connection between your computer and our expert's computer. This Protocol offers the same security level that is used by Banks and credit card handlers. Once the computers are remotely linked it is a secure session that can not be accessed or viewed by anybody else. This ensures your security and privacy.

How do I pay AccuNOC?

Prior to any online session we will quote you a price and direct you to our checkout center. We currently utilize PayPal as our payment processor. Paypal offers extremely secure online transactions. We will not ask for credit card information over the phone. If you are not satisfied with the support you received we will refund your money.

Will I still be in control of my computer during the repair session?

Yes. During the session you are completely in control the whole time. You are the only person who can initiate a support session by logging in and you can end a session at any time by simply closing the support window. Furthermore, you still have control of your mouse (cursor). During a session you will see our expert using the cursor to locate and fix problems, but, at any time, you can override this by simply moving your mouse.

Can you reconnect to my computer after my repair session is over?

No. Not until you authorize another repair session and log back in. When you use our service you will be prompted to download a temporary desktop sharing application. The application permits interaction with your computer. When you close this temporary application it is automatically removed from your computer. We can no longer connect to your desktop or computer.

Is the online service easy to use?

It is very simple! Through remote desktop sharing, our experts link to your computer or server via the Internet and repair it directly. Just sit back and watch or work on something else while we get your computer back up and running. Once you confirm the connection we can perform all services.

Can you support my older computer?

Yes. We support Computers running the Windows 98 operating system or greater. Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista are all supported by are remote desktop support system.

I have an Apple Mac, can you support it?

No. Not at the moment. However, we are working on this and hopefully we will be able to extend our service to Apple Mac users soon.

What about my online privacy?

AccuNOC only uses your personal information to conduct business with you. Your personally identifiable information will not be rented, sold or shared with any third party. AccuNOC may disclose information it has collected from any customer of the Service when it believes, in good faith, that the law or legal process requires it. This is including, but not limited to, content that violates child pornography laws, child sexual exploitation laws and laws prohibiting the depiction of minors engaged in sexual conduct.

Is your work Guaranteed?

Yes. Our computer repair service is guaranteed for 5 (five) days. If you subsequently encounter the same problem within 5 days of the original session, you must notify us immediately and we will work to remedy the problem quickly and professionally.
